Competition format & Rules
At the EJIU ZURICH we provide the competitors a competition with a bracket system which will bring forward the best possible way to compete in a fair division.
Bracket building
This is how the brackets will be made:
1 competitor - will be merged into the best suitable bracket, bracket will be merged with age & weight if needed.
2 competitors - best of three
3-5 competitors - round-robin in 1 bracket
6-10 competitor - round-robin with 2 seperate qualifier brackets followed by an elimination round for the top 2 of each of the brackets.
11-15 competitors - round-robin with 3 seperate qualifier brackets followed by an elimination round for the top 2 of each bracket.
16-20 competitors - round-robin with 4 seperate qualifier brackets followed by an elimination round for the nr. 1 of each bracket.
AJP ruleset
Both gi & no-gi fights will be 5 minutes for all levels & adults/masters.
